Research competition «The Great Feat of a Great People»

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University invites students, graduate students, young scientists and researchers (under the age of 39) to take part in research competition, dedicated to 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The purpose of the competition is — to stimulate research activities aimed at studying and understanding the history of the Great Patriotic War, preserving historical memory and countering the falsification of history.

The main objectives of the competition are:

• Coverage of current problems in the history of the Great Patriotic War

• Attracting young researchers

• Conducting professional and objective examination

• Encouraging the best authors

• Popularization of the competition results in the media and on the Internet

• Promoting the development of historical science

Dates:

• Acceptance of applications and works: from April 16 to May 31, 2025.

• Expertise and debriefing: from 15 to 9 June 2025.

• Announcement of results: 11 June 2025

Work requirements:

• Novelty and originality, revealing little-studied aspects of the Second World War

• Formats: .doc/.docx and.pdf

• The work must not have been previously published or submitted to other competitions

• Design — in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations

• Mandatory application — application (Annex 2 to the Regulations)

Awards:

• 1st place <TAG1> 20,000 soms

• 2nd place <TAG1> 15,000 soms

• 3rd place <TAG1> 10,000 soms

All participants will receive certificates, a the best works will be recommended for publication in the journal «Bulletin of KRSU».
