Video essay competition «Letter to the winning soldier: “And we will remember your feat sacredly”»

Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin and the Institute of Russian Language of KRSU named after. A.O. Orusbaev invites students 8th, 9th and 10th grades secondary schools, lyceums and colleges of the Kyrgyz Republic with Russian, Kyrgyz and Uzbek languages of instruction participate in the video essay competition «Letter to the winning soldier: “And we will remember your feat sacredly”», dedicated to the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The objectives of the competition are: promoting the education of patriotism, creating a sense of belonging to the country's past and understanding of the present; development and strengthening of cultural ties between generations; attracting the attention of young people to the military-historical heritage of the country, in particular to study the events of the Great Patriotic War; motivating young people to participate in socially significant activities in the interests of developing patriotism; generating interest among young people in Kyrgyzstan in the Russian language through creative and research activities; developing the creative potential and creative thinking of participants.

Competition conditions:

• Videos are accepted for the Competition in russian, in which students recite essays of their own writing, performed by in the genre of writing, written to the victorious soldier in the Great Patriotic War.
• The video must create the necessary surroundings, use historical sketches and any other artistic means.
• The use of extremist information and content in the video calling for aggressive behavior is not permitted. If this condition is not met, the material will be suspended from participation in the Competition.
• Competitive the material must not contain complete or partial plagiarism. If this condition is not met, the material will be excluded from participation in the competition.
• Participation in the Competition personal. Collective works for the Competition not accepted.
• From one school to the Competition can be submitted no more than three works.
• Videos can be created any available video devices (mobile phone camera, smartphone, digital camera, tablet computer, professional or amateur video camera).
• The video must be submitted to the Competition in format MP4 in resolution pixels 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
• Timing of the video – no more than 3 minutes.
• AND THEthe file mens should be written in the following format «familia-vov» (for example, Ismailov-vov).
• At the beginning of the video they are indicated last name and first name of the participant, class, educational institution, locality, region.
• Must be attached to the work filled questionnaire participant.
• Members' works should be sent by email: konkurs_russ@mail.en
• Acceptance of work will end 25 May 2022 at 24.00 according to Bishkek time.
• Works that do not meet the stated requirements will not be accepted for the Competition.

Competition entries will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Compliance of the competition material with the stated theme, goals and objectives of the Competition.
2. Compliance with the requirements of the declared genre (writing genre).
3. Literacy in presenting the material (compliance with the norms of the Russian literary language).
4. The ability to express thoughts vividly and emotionally.
5. Originality of the work's content, design and musical design.
6. Competition materials are assessed by members of the Commission on a point system: on a scale from 1 to 10 for each of the criteria. The final decision is based on the average score received by the participant based on the assessment results.

Based on the results of the Competition, the winners will be determined I I, II, III degrees (highest level of winners), as well as 3 nominees: «For patriotism», «For emotional disclosure of the topic», «For artistic excellence».

The winners of the competition will be awarded valuable prizes:

winner III degrees: smart watch.

Nominees of the Competition books about the Great Patriotic War will be presented, as well as souvenirs from KRSU.

All participants will receive electronic certificates.

The results of the Competition will be published on the KRSU website in the «NEWS» section https://www.krsu.edu.kg/. Publication date: May 31, 2022.

The awards ceremony for the winners and nominees will take place 3 June 2022 during the online forum «Greater Eurasia: dialogue of languages and cultures» dedicated to the International Day of the Russian Language (G. Bishkek, Kyiv str., 44).
