KRSU holds a creative essay competition among foreigners «One day at the museum. My favorite painting in the collection of S.M. Tretyakov»
Dear foreign students and citizens studying Russian as a foreign language!
INSTITUTE OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE named after. A.O. Orusbaev Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. The first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin invites you to take part in a remote essay competition «One day at the museum. My favorite painting in the collection of S.M. Tretyakov», which will take place from March 15 to April 15, 1023. The competition is dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of the Russian artist S.M. Tretyakov.
By participating in the competition, you will be able to test your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, syntactic norms, as well as the ability to formulate your thoughts in Russian, because in learning the Russian language, as in any educational process, it is important to have an idea of your progress. This is necessary not only to assess the successes achieved, but also to increase motivation for further study of the Russian language and a deeper acquaintance with Russian culture.
The competition is held for foreign citizens with a basic level of Russian language proficiency (A2), regardless of age and place of residence.
Participation in the competition is FREE.
To take part in the competition, you need to fill out a FORM before April 10, 2023 and send it and the text of the essay by email konkurs_russ@mail.ru with a note «I want to win».
The results of the competition will be announced to all participants on April 25, 2023!
Essay competition winners will receive electronic and paper «Essay competition winner certificates «One day at the museum. My favorite painting in the collection of S.M. Tretyakov».

Essay design requirements:
The essay must be completed in Microsoft Office Word and submitted to the competition in ELECTRONIC FORM.
• The essay volume should be no more than 2 A4 sheets, Times New Roman font, size 12, single interval.
• Essay language – Russian.
• Essay content – free
• The file name must contain the author’s last name and the name of the competition
for example:
Ismailov_ My favorite painting.doc
• In the subject line of the letter you must indicate the name of the competition: «My favorite
painting».
• The letter must be accompanied by one completed in Russian QUESTIONNAIRE
PARTICIPANT.
The criteria for evaluating essays will be
• the content fully corresponds to the given topic of the competition (up to 10
points)
• completeness of topic disclosure, content (up to 10 points);
• erudition, knowledge of the actual material (up to 20 points);
• ability to analyze (up to 10 points);
• consistency and originality of presentation (up to 10 points);
• ability to formulate conclusions and argue (up to 10 points);
• manifestation of creative and independent thinking (up to 10 points);
• literary style and presentation of the material (up to 10 points);
• compliance with spelling rules (up to 5 points);
• compliance with essay design requirements (up to 5 points).
