On May 18-21, 2023, the International Conference «New Migration in Eurasia: Consequences for Integration Processes» will be held in Bishkek.
The goal activities <TAG1> discussion of theoretical and applied aspects of interdisciplinary study of the consequences for integration processes in the Eurasian space due to the emergence of new migration flows in it, the construction of new models of cooperation.
As part of the conference, it is expected to consider the following issues:
• Economic and social aspects of demographic policy of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
• Return migration from Russia to the countries of the EAEU and the post-Soviet space.
• Dynamics, reasons for return migration from Russia to Kyrgyzstan; everyday practices of return migrants.
• Features of Russian emigration from Russia to Kyrgyzstan.
• Bishkek as a subject of migration and integration policy.
• The role of public organizations in the socio-demographic processes of Kyrgyzstan.
• Socio-economic problems of reintegration of return migrants from Russia in Kyrgyzstan.
• Socio-demographic contribution of return migration and emigration from Russia to Kyrgyzstan.
Experts in the field of science, culture, education and demography, religious figures, representatives of federal and regional authorities, and non-profit public organizations are invited to participate.
Travel and accommodation for in-person nonresident participants is carried out at the expense of the sending party.
