International Conference «Education as a factor of economic growth» (May 12, 2023)

The purpose of the conference <TAG1> discuss the impact of education on economic growth and economic development using the example of Kyrgyzstan and other developing countries.

Numerous scientific studies prove the impact of education on economic growth and economic development. According to research, education affects the quality of human capital, which, in turn, has a direct impact on labor productivity and is reflected in the rate of economic growth and competitiveness of the country. The issue of the relationship between education and the economy is especially relevant for developing countries, which include Kyrgyzstan and the countries of Central Asia.

The problems raised at the conference may concern the impact of education on economic growth and development in general, and each of its levels – school and vocational (primary, secondary and higher) education on economic growth and economic development, the relationship between the education financing system and the economy, the place of the state and non-state education sectors in the country's economy and other topics.
