International conference dedicated to the Russian language in the bilingual space of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia (May 16-17, 2023)
In the main building of KRSU an International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held «Russian language in the bilingual space of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia: experience, searches, solutions».
Date, time: 16-17 May 2023, 1 pm–7 pm (Bishkek time)
Venue: Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek, st. Kyiv, 44, Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B. Yeltsin, room. 212, 210.
Purpose of the event – organizing expert discussion of current issues:
- the functioning of the Russian language in the context of the language situation that has developed over 30 years of independent development of the republics of Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan;
- bi - and multilingualism in the discourse of the younger generation;
- interaction and application of the Russian language in the educational, communication, media space and media;
- applications of contacting languages in various areas of communication and discursive practices of citizens;
- methods of teaching a non-native language.
The conference is held as part of the «Year of the Russian Language 2023». Organizers of the event – Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (Bishkek), State Institute of Russian Language named after. A. Pushkin (Moscow), Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after. P. Lumumba (Moscow).
Participants: scientists, representatives of educational and public organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, CIS countries and Far Abroad.
