Doctor of Historical Sciences from the Kyrgyz National University. Zh. Balasagyna Ainura Arzymatova I appreciated the relevance of the conference topic:

– The 30-year history of existence without the USSR showed what we have lost. We have lost a unique country model of unity and interaction between different peoples and nations, as a result of which a new spiritual community «the Soviet people» was formed on the principles of collectivism and «culture of cooperation», which Western society, based on the principles of extreme individualism and spiritual disunity, lacks. It was this spiritual «Soviet community» that saved the whole world from the global catastrophe of the victory of Nazism in World War II.

According to Professor Ainura Arzymatova, the Soviet period is the most important in the history of the Kyrgyz people. At the conference, the scientist plans to make a report on how Kyrgyzstan has traveled the path of all the peoples of the USSR in its historical development. «By the time of the collapse of the USSR, Kyrgyzstan had a high level of urbanization, a diversified industry with a predominant share of heavy industry and a 100% educated and cultural population with strong confidence in the future», – said Ainura Arzymatova.

According to the leading researcher at the Scientific Center for Altaic and Turkic Studies, professor at Altai State University Yulia Lysenko, at the conference it is expected to discuss issues of the history of Soviet education, national-territorial demarcation of Soviet republics, interethnic communication of the Slavic and Turkic peoples during the years of collectivization and industrialization, as well as during the military and perestroika years of the existence of the USSR.
