International scientific conference «Institutes of power and law of the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries»
On November 1, 2022, at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B.N. Yeltsin (g. Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) an International Scientific Conference «Institutes of Power and Law of the Peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries» will be held.
The co-organizers of the conference are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Scientific and Educational Center for Altaic and Turkic Studies «Greater Altai» and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B.N. Yeltsin.
University teachers, employees of research organizations, archive workers, and young researchers are invited to participate in the conference.
The conference is invited to discuss the following issues:
1. Review of the historiography of institutions of power and law of the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries.
2. Traditional and modern methods of studying legal monuments and legal realities of the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries.
3. Formation and evolution of ideas about power and law among the peoples of Eurasia in the XIII-XIX centuries.
3. Characteristics of the main sources of law of the Golden Horde – national and regional.
4. Characteristics of the main branches of Golden Horde law.
5. Features of the institutions of power of the Golden Horde.
5. Horde political and legal heritage in successor states.
6. Transformation of institutions of power and sources of law during turning points in the history of the peoples of Eurasia.
7. The interpenetration of law and religion among the peoples of Eurasia: common and special.
8. Integration of nomadic peoples into the political and legal space of sedentary suzerain states.
