A. Sheiman and G. S. Zenkov, which will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. N. Yeltsin November 14-15, 2024 (Starts at 10 o’clock, at room 309 in the building of the Faculty of Humanities).

Advanced training courses «Interaction of languages and cultures: theoretical and methodological aspects» are timed to coincide with the upcoming conference (72 hours) from October 15 to November 14, 2024. Teachers of Russian and Kyrgyz languages and literature, teachers of foreign languages, graduate students, master's students are invited to the courses philological specialties.

The conference programme and course programme will be sent to participants before the events begin.

Conference objectives:

Designation of the outstanding contribution of L. A. Sheiman and G. S. Zenkov to the study of the processes of functioning of the Russian language and linguodidactics in Kyrgyzstan; Combining the efforts of the philological community of Slavic universities to study current issues of the functioning and teaching of the Russian language in the context of its linguistic and cultural interaction with the languages of the countries of the post-Soviet space.

The purpose of the refresher courses is

Expanding the professional competencies of specialists carrying out teaching, scientific and practical activities in educational institutions.

Conference objectives:

Discussion and promotion of priority areas of scientific activity in the field of philology, exchange of practical experience in teaching Russian as a native, non-native and foreign language;

Integrating scientific interaction in the field of interdisciplinary projects;

Formation of motivation for young specialists to conduct scientific research, cultivating in them analytical and critical thinking skills.

Venues of the conference and refresher courses are

IRYA KRSU, Bishkek, pr. Chui 44 (Humanities Faculty building).

The conference proposes to discuss current issues in the following areas:

Systemic-structural and anthropocentric paradigms in linguistics: continuity and ways of interaction.

Sociolinguistic studies of the functioning of the Russian language and the languages of the post-Soviet space.

Digital technologies in teaching Russian as a non-native language and its linguodidactic description.

Problems of interaction of languages in the social and mental-linguistic space and issues of bilingualism.

The role of Russian and foreign literature in the theory and practice of teaching the Russian language.

Working languages of the conference: Kyrgyz, Russian.

Forms of participation in the conference: Full-time or part-time participation with report and publication; Part-time (publication only); Listener (full-time or part-time participation).

The procedure for submitting materials:

To participate in the conference as a speaker or listener, you must register by September 20, 2024 follow the link.

To study in advanced training courses, you must register before September 20, 2024 follow the link.

The conference and courses are planned to be held in part-time and part-time. Please send the article to participate in the conference by October 1, 2024 in «doc» or «docx» format marked: last name_article (for example, Bogdanov_article) by email of the organizing committee: institut_russ@mail.ru. If there are two or more authors, the name of the first author is indicated in the file name. After the specified period, articles will not be accepted.

Based on the results of the conference, the materials of the speeches will be published in a collection of scientific reports with subsequent indexation at the RSCI. The conference organizing committee reserves the right to select reports and articles, taking into account the level of originality of the articles, their compliance with the topic of the conference, scientific standards and technical requirements.

Participation in the conference and training in courses is free. The commanding party shall bear the costs of accommodation, meals and transport services.

Upon completion of the courses, active students will receive certificates of advanced training at RUDN University named after. P. Lumumba (72 hours).
