International engineering championship "CASE-IN" for students and young professionals

Registration for the international engineering championship "CASE-IN" has begun for students and young specialists of universities in the Russian Federation and the CIS (more details about the competition can be found on the official website of the project: https://case-in.ru/ )

As part of the project, an international championship is being implemented in the areas of "Student League" and "League of Young Professionals".

For students:

International engineering championship CASE-IN. Student League (hereinafter referred to as the Championship) – a team competition among students of universities in Russia and the CIS countries in solving engineering cases, consisting of qualifying stages taking place at the bases of the OOVO participants of the Championship, distance semi-finals, and a head-to-head final taking place in Moscow.

PURPOSE:

Identification and support of the most promising university students, as well as assistance in obtaining practical knowledge, experience and new competencies, popularizing engineering and technical education and attracting young specialists to the fuel, energy and mineral resources sectors, the nuclear industry and related industries.

TASKS:

(1) Creation of the largest career guidance platform for industrial sectors for students of any profile at leading universities in Russia and the CIS countries, with the participation of representatives of enterprises, authorities, scientific and educational centers, public and expert associations.

(2) Comprehensive assessment and development of professional, leadership and innovative potential, career guidance and practical training of more than 4,000 students based on educational technology «case method», which involves solving real production problems.

(3) Involving young people in considering specific tasks of the functioning of industrial sectors and identifying, on the basis of their proposals, promising and interesting approaches to solving pressing problems of industry development.

DATES: February-May 2025.

For young professionals:

International engineering championship CASE-IN. League of Young Professionals. Main season (hereinafter –League of Young Professionals) – team competition to solve engineering cases among young professionals (whose age does not exceed 35 years) of organizations that have the status of a legal entity (including industry companies, company branches, universities and scientific associations).

The general theme of the season is:

Purpose:

Professional and personal development of young company professionals

Tasks:

1. Assessing and developing the professional knowledge and leadership skills, as well as the personal competencies of young professionals in companies;

2. Identifying leaders among young professionals in companies;

3. Involving young company specialists in solving pressing production problems facing the company and the entire industry using «case method»;

4. Assistance in transferring to young workers the experience and knowledge accumulated by the company's management and its leading employees.

The main season of the League of Young Professionals consists of full-time and remote qualifying stages and a full-time final in Moscow.
