International Roundtable «Challenges of Modernity and Philosophy» (November 16, 2023)

On November 16, 2023, the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies named after. Academician A. Kakeeva holds an International Round Table «Challenges of Modernity and Philosophy» dedicated to World Science Day, World Philosophy Day and the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin.

 

Purpose of the round table – consideration current problems faced by modern people in the era of digital transformation, which poses a huge number of challenges. Among them are – opportunities and prospects, threats and risks of introducing new digital technologies into the educational space; philosophical and ethical issues of developing artificial intelligence and big data in modern reality.

 

In the analysis, discourse and attempt to scientifically comprehend these problems, as well as in the development of socio-ethical recommendations and methodological solutions, philosophy and socio-humanities have a huge role to play.
