International Youth Forum «Eurasia Global – 2020»

From September 2 to 8, 2020, the anniversary International Youth Forum «Eurasia Global» will be held in Orenburg. The event will be held for the fifth time and will bring together Russian and foreign youth, as well as young compatriots living abroad. The forum is being held for the first time under the auspices of UNESCO.

A total of 800 participants from all over the world are expected. 200 volunteers will help organize high-quality work.

Due to the current situation in the world, training and interaction at the Forum will depend on the epidemiological situation. Throughout the Forum, it is mandatory to follow measures to prevent coronavirus infection for everyone on the site.

The Forum includes a business program, media meetings, discussion of current topics in the world, interaction between representatives of countries, and the generation of joint initiatives for professional and personal development. One of the features of the Forum — Programme 2.0. — are activities created by the participants themselves for the participants. A large-scale cultural program is also planned for young people.

In the year of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, events dedicated to this event are planned in iconic historical places of the Orenburg region.

The purpose of the forum «Eurasia Global» — development of a platform for practice-oriented dialogue between representatives of countries.

The Forum was first held in 2016 in Orenburg on the initiative of the government of the Orenburg region, supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The organizers of the current Forum will be the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Government of the Orenburg Region, and the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Resource Youth Center».
