The International Scientific and Practical Forum «Aitmatov Readings – 2024» will be held at KRSU

On December 3–4, 2024, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will become a center for discussing the creative heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Forum «Aitmatov Readings – 2024». This event, dedicated to the outstanding writer and humanist, will bring together scientists and experts from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.

Forum participants will consider the influence of Aitmatov’s works on literature, cinema, philosophy and educational approaches. During the plenary session at the KRSU, the topic will be raised «Chingiz Aitmatov in the humanitarian space of the CIS countries and in world artistic culture: interdisciplinary scientific and educational approaches».

In addition, during thematic sections there will be reports and discussions that will emphasize the relevance of the writer’s ideas in the modern world. The forum will become a platform for the exchange of opinions and scientific discoveries, helping to strengthen cultural ties and popularize Aitmatov’s legacy.
