On December 20-21, 2021, the Russian State Humanitarian University (RGGU), with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan, the Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan, the Armenian Association of Teachers of Russian language and literature are organizing an International Scientific and Practical Forum for teachers teaching Russian abroad, on the topic «Russian language and global challenges XXI centuries in the Eurasian space».
The event is part of the state program of the Russian Federation «Development of Education» in the direction «Carrying out large socially significant events aimed at popularizing the Russian language».
The forum is held in a mixed format for participants from Armenia and Russia and in an online format on the Zoom platform for participants from other countries. Teachers teaching Russian language and Russian literature in institutions of higher, secondary and additional education abroad, researchers professionally studying Russian language and literature, scientists and cultural workers, independent authors using the Russian language, everyone who loves Russian language and Russian literature.
Within the framework of the Forum, lectures and master classes will be held:
- Maxim Anisimovich Krongauz, doctor of Philology, Director of the Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Sociolinguistics of the Russian State University for the Humanities;
- Natalya Georgievna Bragina, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Russian Language, Institute of Philology and History, Russian State University for the Humanities;
- Yuri Viktorovich Domansky, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Institute of Philology and History of the Russian State University for the Humanities;
- Valery Igorevich Tyupa, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Historical Poetics;
- Igor Alekseevich Sharonov, Doctor of Philology, Head of the Department of Russian Language, Russian State University for the Humanities;
- Anatoly Viktorovich Korchinsky, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Humanitarian Knowledge, Russian State University for the Humanities.
The event program also includes an International Scientific and Methodological Round Table «Russian as a non-native? Problems and prospects for teaching Russian as a second language in the CIS countries».
