Dear colleagues!
We invite you to take part in the International Scientific and Practical Forum «Aitmatov Readings – 2024», which will take place on December 3–4, 2024 at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. N. Yeltsin in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic).
The purpose of the Forum is a comprehensive study of the creative heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov in the interests of deepening cooperation between the CIS member states in the educational, scientific and educational sphere, in the field of education and upbringing of youth, in order to promote spiritual and moral values and historical and cultural traditions of the classical literary heritage, as well as in the interests of popularizing the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication.
The event is organized by the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. N. Yeltsin with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Project partners: Bishkek State University named after. K. Karasaev, House-Museum of Chingiz Aitmatov in Bishkek, Moscow City Pedagogical University.
Within the scientific block of activities, the academic community is invited to discuss the following issues:
1. Chingiz Aitmatov in the humanitarian space of the CIS countries and in world artistic culture: interdisciplinary scientific and educational approaches.
2. Aitmatology in the context of the development of modern humanitarian science in the CIS countries and neighboring countries.
3. The creative heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov in world artistic culture.
4. Chingiz Aitmatov in the modern educational space.
In addition to the scientific block, participants will enjoy a block of educational events – Multimedia literary lounge «Chingiz Aitmatov and youth of the 21st century»: exhibition «Chingiz Aitmatov and world artistic culture», the final stage of the media competition «Reading Aitmatov in the languages of the world», public talk «Legacy of Chingiz Aitmatov in the digital era», as well as free discussion and a literary open microphone.
