The 2021 Moses Readings are timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War
On June 21-23, 2021, the Russian Academy of Sciences will host the XXIX Moiseev Readings – international scientific and practical conference «Russia in the 21st century: the Great Patriotic War and historical memory» online, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and consideration from the standpoint of Moiseev’s concept of universal evolutionism of important events of the past war.
The purpose of the event is to form a genuine historical memory among young people against the backdrop of a campaign launched in the West to revise the results of the Second World War and falsify real historical events.
As part of the readings, there will be a photo competition «The Great Patriotic War in the fate of my country and my generation», as well as a youth competition for the best essay «The Great Patriotic War in the fate of the country, in my perception and the perception of my peers».
