We invite you to take part in international interuniversity work
scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students

«From national to global security: a multifactorial analysis
challenges and threats to the stable development of Central Asia»

 

The purpose of the conference is:

Analysis of modern challenges and threats to the stability of Central Asia in the context of international and national security, sustainable Eurasian development
and integration.

 

The main areas of the conference are as follows:

1. International security: modern challenges and threats.

2. Hybrid wars and information security.

3. Economic and social aspects of regional development.

4. Environmental and technological safety.

5. The role of science and education in countering destructive ideologies.

 

Program of activities

December 11 (Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Kyiv St., 44)

09:00–10:00: registration of participants (Large assembly hall).

10:00–11:00: plenary session, welcoming speeches.

12 noon –4 pm: breakout sessions and round tables.

Topics of the day:

• Plenary session (opening of the conference)

• Problems of international security in the context of modern challenges and threats

• UN Sustainable Development Goals and global security issues

• Implementation of the SDGs, the role of national strategies and initiatives

• Crisis of evolutionary development of Eurasian security architecture

• Central Asia, political, cultural and historical aspects of the formation of a new center of continental security, integration and socio-economic development.

 

12 December

Breakout sessions and round tables will be held at the following venues:

• Kyrgyz State Technical University (Prospect Ch. Aitmatova, 66)

• Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (Mederova St., 68)

• Hybrid wars and information security

• Factors of regional development: economy, integration and good neighborliness

• Technological safety aspects

• Regional and national security aspects in the context of global climate change

 

13 December

Venue: KNU.

10:00–16:30:

• The problem of neutralizing the destructive ideological impact on civil society

• The role of science and higher education in neutralizing destructive ideologies imposed from outside, as well as manifestations of youth extremism and radicalism

• Socio-psychological and cultural-historical foundations for educating youth resistance to destructive ideological influence

 

December 14 (KRSU, Kyiv St., 44)

09:00–14:30: Synthesis of materials and summing up the results of the conference.

Online connection link and video conferencing access are available to registered participants upon request. Registration is open until December 9.

When registering, it is mandatory to provide contact information, as well as annotations of the report, including the name, indication of the field of scientific research (scientific discipline), listing the challenges and threats under consideration.

Participation in conference events is permitted in the following forms:

• oral presentation (according to the regulations, up to 5–7 minutes);

• participating in the discussion of reports;

• the use of only open information in the text of the report and during the speech, taking into account the possibility of publication in public media and on the Internet.

Based on the results of the conference, certificates are expected to be awarded, including for participation and best performance.
