«Green» Economy Week (14 - 18 February 2023)
On February 14-18, 2023, Bishkek will host the Week of «Green» Economics, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin, organized by the Faculty of Economics. The events will be held in a hybrid format with the possibility of performing both in traditional and remote formats. As part of the Week, the International Scientific and Practical Forum «Green Economy and Sustainable Development» and the Winter School «Green Economy and the main directions of its development in Kyrgyzstan» will be held, at which a Strategic session for students «Problems of development of the «green» economy in the Kyrgyz Republic» and Foresight session for schoolchildren «Kyrgyzstan on the way to a «green» economy».
The purpose of the forum is to exchange the opinions of conference participants – experts, practitioners and scientists on the problems hindering the promotion and development of a green economy and sustainable development, to summarize practical and scientific experience in resolving them, to determine further steps taking into account best international practice and to make recommendations to the government in the form of a conference resolution. It is important to note the need to integrate the scientific community with the youth community (participants in schools and universities) in order to promote the ideas of green economic growth and sustainable development.
Scientists, graduate students, students, as well as representatives of the business community, government bodies and international organizations and all interested parties are invited to participate in the forum.
The forum will discuss the following issues:
- Green agenda for sustainable development
- International practice in green economy development
- Theoretical aspects of the green economy
- Problems of achieving carbon neutrality and renewable energy sources
- Problems of development of organic production.
- Legal framework for the development of a green economy: problems and solutions
- Energy efficiency and energy saving
- Sustainable cities and transport
- Sustainable Development Management
Please send requests for presentations by February 5, 2023 to greeneconomy.krsu@gmail.com with the subject of the letter «Forum application». The application must include information about the author:

The application must be accompanied by detailed abstracts of the report in Russian with a volume of 5 to 8 thousand characters with spaces (Font Times New Roman, size 14, spacing 1.0).
The abstract of the report shall contain
- posing a scientific problem to be solved in research
- justification of its relevance,
- the scientific research methods used by the author
- the main results obtained in the study are
- the meaning of the results obtained.
Before submitting abstracts, you must inform in advance about your intention to take part in the conference, the topic of the report and brief information about yourself.
Based on the results of the forum, an electronic collection «Green Economy and Sustainable Development» will be prepared. The best reports on the selection results will be published in the journal reviewed by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation «Bulletin of the KRSU».
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select materials for speeches and include them in the collection of articles following the conference.
