National Research University «MEI» invites young researchers to the International Youth Energy Forum «Energy Systems of the Future»

The National Research University «MPEI» announced the start of registration for the International Youth Energy Forum «Energy Systems of the Future», which will be held from December 17 to 19, 2025 in Moscow. Event format — face-to-face, with the possibility of remote connection via video conferencing. The forum is aimed at undergraduate, graduate students, young scientists and specialists under the age of 35 who are passionate about research in the field of electric power and related scientific fields. Participants will enjoy a rich program dedicated to strategic issues of energy system development, modern industry challenges and prospects for the implementation of advanced technological solutions.

The Energy Forum will become a professional platform for communication between young researchers and leading experts and representatives of energy companies. Key thematic areas include — operation and management of energy systems, electricity quality, industry economics, distributed energy resources and active distribution systems.

Based on the results of the event, a collection of reports indexed in the RSCI will be published, and the best studies will receive a separate expert assessment and can become the basis for participation in the 51st Session of CIGRE in Paris. This creates a significant professional incentive for young scientists seeking to contribute to the development of global energy science.
