Opening of the exhibition «They covered their lives»

   On May 7, 2024 at 11.00 at the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic the opening of the exhibition «They covered life with themselves» will take place, dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 During the Great Patriotic War, the border guards of Kyrgyzstan showed courage and perseverance in defending the western borders of the USSR and in military battles on the fronts in the battle against fascism. Already in the first days of the war, the command received more than 800 reports from border guards with requests to be sent to the front. A sniper movement was initiated in the Kyrgyz Border District, and 448 Kyrgyz border guards participated in combat operations as part of the 162–th Infantry Division of the Central Asian. The accumulated experience of the border service and devoted service to their people are passed on from generation to generation. Twenty-one

    The exhibition exposition was created on the basis of research into documentary materials from the archives of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, conducted by an employee of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, candidate of historical sciences Leonid Sumarokov. The exhibition also presents front-line and memorial relics from the collections of the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

  The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be attended by representatives of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan, the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, the daughter of the legendary border guard Jamankula Dzhenchuraeva, academician Rozalia Dzhamankulovna Dzhenchuraeva. Cadets of the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Hero of the Soviet Union K. Usenbekov, students of the Kyrgyz National Military Lyceum named after. Hero of the Soviet Union D. Asanova, secondary school students from. Ken - Bulun, named after border guard Osmon Lailiev, students of Bishkek schools and university students of the capital.

 The exhibition is held with literary and musical accompaniment performed by the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity of KRSU under the direction of Honored Artist of the KR G.S. Ketova.
