Presentation of the monograph «K.K. Yudakhin. Uniting Central Asia with the word»

On December 10, 2020 at 13.00 (Bishkek time) at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a presentation of the documentary-biographical monograph by L.I. will be held online. Sumarokova and O.L. Sumarokova «K.K. Yudakhin. Uniting Central Asia with a word». Scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the event.

The presented scientific work, published by the KRSU Publishing House, reveals the multifaceted activities of the Soviet Turkologist, lexicographer, expert on living Turkic languages and ancient Turkic writing Konstantin Kuzmich Yudakhin. The book is dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of this outstanding scientist, who made a great contribution to the development of current problems of Turkology, Kyrgyz linguistics, literary criticism and history, who created Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz dictionaries – a set of lexical richness of the modern Kyrgyz language.

The publication is based on documentary materials, many of which were published for the first time, and is aimed at a wide range of readers. The monograph is part of the book series «Eurasian Creators», which began with documentary and biographical monographs by L.I. Sumarokova and O.L. Sumarokova «Chingiz Aitmatov – Man-Universe» and «Eurasian Chronicles N.M. Przhevalsky».
