From October 9 to 16, 2023, an international historical school will be held at the KRSU
On October 9-16, 2023, the International Historical School «General History as a resource for the joint development of Russia and the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States» will be held on the basis of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin.
The work of the School is based on the following thematic tracks:
– Culture (preservation and development of cross-cultural communications and strengthening interaction between youth of the CIS countries);
– Knowledge (identification and study of promising areas of cooperation between CIS countries);
– Links (strengthening and developing socio-economic ties between CIS countries);
– Memory (countering the falsification of the history of Russia and the CIS countries and preserving historical memory).
Within each track, an intensive educational program (in Russian), round tables and discussions with leading Russian and Kyrgyz scientists, as well as a project competition are planned. The school's events will be useful, first of all, for students studying in social and humanitarian specialties (history, philology, cultural studies, political science, economics and international relations).
