North Caucasus Federal University, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, begins implementing an international project «Russian language: my formula for success» for students philological and pedagogical faculties from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
The project is aimed at expanding the Russian linguistic and cultural space and is designed to improve the system of teaching the Russian language in the CIS countries. Goal – to identify the most talented among future teachers and philologists and give them the latest tools in teaching the Russian language. Qualified speakers from the North Caucasus Federal University and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia will tell future teachers of Russian language and literature about new teaching technologies, show modern educational tools, and teach them how to work in the format of the future.
From October 29, 2022, applications for the international competition «Russian language: my formula for success» open for 3-4 year undergraduate and 2 year master's students of philological and pedagogical faculties of universities in the countries participating in the project.
Based on the results of the competition, 10 winners from each country will have a unique opportunity to undergo distance learning in an additional educational program «Project activities in teaching the Russian language». The program involves training in two areas: teaching the linguistic and regional studies component and getting acquainted with project activities when teaching the Russian language.
In December, the winners will develop their acquired skills in project activities at the «Young Leader School», which will be held in Yerevan (Armenia).
–The difference between our project is that for the first time, three federal trainers of the Association of Trainers of the Russian Youth Union are involved in training future Russian teachers from the CIS at the «School of Young Leaders», – noted the project manager «Russian language: my formula for success», director of the Center linguistic examinations and testing in the Russian language NCFU Elvira Lavrik.
Applications for the competition will be accepted until November 20, 2022. To participate you must pass registration and attach a video or multimedia presentation in Russian on one of the topics:
– «Teacher of the future: a universal formula for success?»;
– «Formula for the success of great Russian scientists and cultural figures»;
– «Successful Russian lesson: secret formula»;
– «Formula of life in modern Russian literature and culture».
