Student competition for the development of a corporate identity for the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after. B.N. Yeltsin «Uniting cultures»
In order to develop interaction between the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute and the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction, a student competition «Uniting Cultures» will be held from February 10 to April 11, 2025
Students from St. Petersburg Pedagogical University and KRSU can take part in the competition. To participate in the Competition, you must send an application by email fskrsu@yandex.ru. The application must include the following information:
– name of the institution;
– Full name, specialty, year and form of study;
– Contact details (phone number, email address).
The competition will be held in three stages, allowing participants to delve deeper into the process of creating and developing style concepts, as well as learn the history of KRSU and the culture of Kyrgyzstan.
Stage 1: pre-project research – determination of values and uniqueness, university missions, identification of target audiences, selection of analogues according to criteria, keywords and images, corporate identity concept.
Dates for the stage are – February 10 – February 24, 2025.
Based on the results of stage 1, all concepts will be discussed by the Competition Committee.
Feedback will be provided to participants during an online meeting with mentors-mentors of the Competition.
Stage 2: dates – February 24 – March 23, 2025.
The task at this stage is – development of a corporate block, sign and descriptor, color and font solutions, development of additional graphics.
At the end of the stage, projects will be discussed and the best works will be selected to participate in stage 3. The organizers reserve the right to determine the number of participants who will move on to the third stage.
Stage 3: dates – March 24 – April 11, 2025.
At this stage, participants will be required to present solutions using the developed corporate identity on the main media and mockups in accordance with the Competition’s TOR.
Throughout the competition, mentors will work with participants:
- from the SPbPU side, the mentor will be Tatyana Igorevna Diodorova, associate professor, associate professor at the Higher School of Design and Architecture of the Engineering and Construction Institute of the SPbPU, member of the Union of Designers of Russia
"and on the KRSU side, Beisen Sergeevich Kariev, associate professor, head of the Department of Design of the Architectural Environment, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction, KRSU Chairman of the Union of Architects of the Kyrgyz Republic, will help the participants.
