The Great Patriotic War and historical memory

June 22, within the framework of the XXIX Moiseev Readings – international scientific and practical conference «Russia in the XXI century: the Great Patriotic War and historical memory» Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, together with the Central State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the veteran organization of the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, organizes the work of the section «Kyrgyz SSR in the Great Patriotic War: unknown pages of the battle against fascism».

The section starts at 13.00. The event will take place online at the KRSU site.

The purpose of the conference is to identify important events of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War, most susceptible to criticism and falsification by Western scientific schools and politicians, as well as to formulate scientifically based arguments and answers to form historical memory among young people, to counter attempts to rewrite the history and results of the battle with fascism.
