The Faculty of Law of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was opened in 1997
The faculty has 6 departments:
- Administrative and financial law;
- Civil law and process;
- International and constitutional law;
- Theories and histories of state and law;
- Criminal law and procedure;
- Forensic examination.
All departments are graduating departments.
The field «Jurisprudence» and specialty «Forensic Science» are served by the following structural divisions of the faculty:
- Center for Clinical Legal Education
- Center for Scientific Research and Innovative Technologies
- Laboratory for technical and forensic examination of documents and handwriting examinations;
- Laboratory of forensic photography, forensic video recording and special equipment;
- Laboratory for trace, ballistic and interactive laser shooting range;
- Portrait examination and habitoscopy laboratory;
- Forensic Test Site «Living Room» and «Kitchen».
