Faculty structure

The faculty has 6 departments:

  • department of Administrative and Financial Law;
  • department of Civil Law and Procedure;
  • department of International and Constitutional Law;
  • department of Theory and History of State and Law;
  • department of Criminal Law and Procedure;
  • department of Forensic Science.

All departments are graduating departments.

The field «Jurisprudence» and specialty «Forensic Science» are served by the following structural divisions of the faculty:

  • Center for Clinical Legal Education
  • Center for Scientific Research and Innovative Technologies
    1. laboratory for technical and forensic research of documents and handwriting examinations;
    2. laboratory of forensic photography, forensic video recording and special equipment;
    3. traceology, ballistic research and interactive laser shooting range laboratory;
    4. laboratory of portrait examination and habitoscopy;
    5. forensic testing ground «Living room» and «Kitchen».

Material and technical base

All premises of the Faculty of Law are located in the academic building №7 at the address Bishkek, Chui Avenue 42. A box for complaints and suggestions is installed in the lobby of the building, indicating the helpline number (+996 312 68-00-24)

The faculty's office system and laboratory base allow the educational process to be conducted at sufficient scientific and methodological levels, including online, and also ensure the organization of independent training of students and facilitate their scientific and research work.

The faculty also prepares its educational and scientific works; in particular, in 2023, the following publications were submitted to the publishing house:

  • State civil and municipal service in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation: educational and methodological manual (author Nurmatov T.A.).
  • International environmental law: educational and methodological manual (author Kolesnichenko S.G.)
  • European law and European Union law: educational and methodological instructions (author Tukubasheva A.I)
  • Criminology: International and national experience of countering extremism and terrorism: a textbook for foreign students (authors B.G. Tugelbaeva, A.D. Khamzaeva, Kekiv K.K.)

The classroom stock, computer and other equipment, and electronic documentation bases are regularly modernized. The faculty is equipped with more than 100 computers connected to a local network, which ensures computer security and free access to the information and legal systems of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic.
