The faculty held a meeting with the chief architect of the city of Kazan, Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, during which a presentation was presented on the principles of modern architecture, as well as issues of development and planning of urban space.
In her speech, Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina focused on current approaches to the formation of the architectural environment of the city, emphasizing the need to preserve the historical and cultural heritage when introducing modern urban planning solutions. Particular importance was given to creating comfortable and safe public spaces, improving the quality of the urban environment and applying innovative technologies in design.
The report aroused great interest among students and teachers. Examples of implemented and promising projects in Kazan were presented, reflecting modern trends in the development of architecture and urban planning.
