Interuniversity student debates in round table format: “Artificial Intelligence vs Human Intelligence” for 2nd year students

On November 16, 2023, the Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted an interuniversity student debate in a round table format: “Artificial Intelligence vs Human Intelligence” for 2nd year students.
The purpose of this event was to intensify the study of professional English, which helps to increase interest in its study and expand knowledge in the professional field.
Working in teams, students actively presented their arguments on the topics of the round table “Academic dishonesty”, “Artificial intelligence reforms the teaching methods” and “Artificial intelligence impacts the privacy rights”, made presentations, and defended their positions. At the end of the event, the «abstention» team teamed up with the groups to address the issues at stake.
Such events allow students to hone their oral and self-presentation skills in a foreign language. All active participants were awarded certificates.
