Water resources management: KRSU and KNAU students took part in the interactive game Nexus

The Faculty of Architecture, Design and Construction hosted the Nexus Game «Agreement in the Field of Water Resources Management».

It was organized and conducted by 4th year students in the field «Nature management and water use». Students from KRSU and KNAU took part in the action.

The game is a controlled process of playing out 5 different scenarios for the development of countries located upstream and downstream of rivers, while simultaneously meeting the water needs of the population, industry and agriculture of these countries and taking into account the problems of climate change.

The participants tried on the roles of ministers of agriculture, water and dams, and energy. They were assisted by prime ministers who managed the countries' finances. The history of the game's introduction in the Central Asian region began in 2018 as part of the «Nexus Dialogue in Central Asia» project implemented by the Central Asian Regional Environmental Center.
