Scientific research activities

Currently, the faculty has the following scientific schools.:

Scientific school "Ecopathology of children of Kyrgyzstan". Supervisor: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Bokonbayeva Syrga Dzhoomartovna. GRNTI Area of expertise: 76.29.47 Pediatrics.

Scientific school "Problems of dentistry of the Kyrgyz Republic". Supervisor: Doctor of Medicine, Professor. Mamytova A.B. Field of knowledge on GRNTI: 76.29.55 Dentistry and maxillofacial surgeons.

By orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic, the faculty has opened 26 scientific specialties for postgraduate students. Currently, 31 postgraduate students, 1 doctoral student and 5 applicants are studying at the postgraduate school.

 

During the 2016-2020 academic years, 21 monographs, 13 textbooks, 6 courses of lectures, 98 teaching and teaching aids, 5 methodological developments, 5 clinical manuals, 3 collections of tests, an atlas, etc. were published. Several collections of scientific papers have been published, more than 400 scientific articles in various peer-reviewed publications.

 

20 patents, 10 copyright certificates, and 3 certificates for innovation proposals have been obtained. 155 implementation acts have been issued, 140 of them in the educational process, 9 in medical work.

 

During the same period, our staff participated in dozens of symposiums, congresses, forums, conferences, round tables, exhibitions and other events held both in the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad.

 

In the near future, it is planned to create a scientific laboratory for biomedical data and implement the epidemiological study ESSE-KR, aimed at monitoring the cardiovascular health of the population and assessing the epidemiological situation by risk factors for chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in the Kyrgyz Republic. The study is planned with the expert support of the staff of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation — developers and participants of a series of multicenter epidemiological studies of ESSE-RF, implemented in the Russian Federation in 2012-2014, 2017-2020-2022 and 2023-2026.
