Students and graduates

The annual competition consists of 2 (pediatrics), 7-8 (dentistry) and 4-5 (Medical science) people per place. This is facilitated not only by the popularity of the medical profession, but also by the active conduct of career guidance. Currently, more than 2,000 students are enrolled, 73.7% of them on a contract basis.

The student body is multinational. In addition to Kyrgyzstanis, the students include citizens of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

In addition, representatives of non-CIS countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, South Korea, Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Syria, and India are studying. Most foreigners first take one-year preparatory courses, where students learn the basics of the Russian language, as well as some upcoming academic subjects of the first year. Indian students have been studying in English since 2015.

The governing body of the student life of the faculty is the Youth Parliament, which is formed by election. Together with the dean's office, this student co-management body organizes faculty birthdays, holidays ("Profession is life!", "New Year", "Nooruz"), contests and Olympiads, festivals, sports competitions, charity and professional events.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, research at the Faculty of Medicine was carried out in 36 departments out of 37. There were 48 student research circles.

544 people are regularly engaged in scientific research in these circles, while the total number of students who participated in various events organized and conducted by the departments of the KRSU Faculty of Medicine (Olympiads, conferences, quizzes and seminars) amounted to about 1,000 people.

Despite all the difficulties of the last academic year, the faculty's research and development has not stalled. Cathedral scientific circles continued to operate, and scientific events were held. The largest of them were:

A Decade on Physiology, held in November 2019 with the support of the Center for Russian Science and Culture in Bishkek, dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of I.M. Sechenov and the 170th anniversary of the birth of I.P. Pavlov;

III Interuniversity Student Olympiad in Morphology, clinical anatomy and surgical skills (December 7, 2019);

Olympiad in pediatric dentistry, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the faculty, competition in histology, Chemistry Olympiad;

There have also been successful performances abroad. So, on December 12, 2019, Novosibirsk State Medical University hosted the IV International Morphological Competition-conference of Students and Young Scientists. The reports of our students took the 1st and 3rd places in the section "Pathology and forensic medicine", the third place in the section "Human Anatomy, topanatomy". On December 13, our team won the third place for contests and the Best business card there.

At the IV Zverev Readings (School of future pediatric surgeons) in Yekaterinburg (January 31 – February 2, 2020), the KRSU team won 24 diplomas in various categories, including 1st degree - 6, 2nd – 11, 3rd – 7.

At the scientific and practical conference at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (IV Medical Global Forum), where 15 of our scientific papers were presented, 3 first places were won.

The report of sixth-year student Islombek Abdurakhmanov at the XXI International Congress "Health and Education in the XXI Century" (Moscow) entered the category of the best, earning a Diploma, a medal and a cup.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, scientific events conducted online have become increasingly important. So, on May 4-18, 2020, at the Olympiad organized by the Department of Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy of the Andijan State Medical University, 70 students from different medical schools participated in 4 competitions. Our sophomores (hands. Beisembaev A.A.) took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

At the 81st scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kuban State Medical University (May 12-18, 2020), the report of 3 of our authors, members of the NSO Department of Anatomy and OHTA, earned a Certificate of Honor.

On June 30, 2020, a competition-conference "New Reality - we can!" was held at the general online Olympiad, which was attended by students of KRSU, KSMU, MVSM MUK, Rostov, Samara, Tver, Novosibirsk State Medical University, Ural Agrarian University, Astana Medical University (Nur Sultan) and Andijan State Medical University. 21 reports on topical issues of medicine were heard. Our guys won prizes in 3 out of five sections.

On September 18, 2020, four of our young speakers (hands. Beisembaev A.A.) successfully performed at the scientific and practical conference of the Rostov State Medical University.

In addition, last December, the final student scientific conference, the "Experts in Histology" competition, which was postponed from spring, was held, and on February 9 this year, on World Dentist's Day, a round table competition between three 1st-year teams specializing in dentistry was held.
