Educational activities of the faculty

The faculty graduates doctors with basic university education in the following specialties:
  • Medical treatment
  • Paediatrics
  • Dentistry

Students are trained according to curricula drawn up in strict accordance with Russian and Kyrgyz state educational standards, which provide for a competency-based approach to learning. The faculty conducts all types of production practices provided for by the Russian State State Administration. Their programs are based on lists of applied skills approved by the Ministries of Health of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Graduates receive two medical diplomas: Russian and Kyrgyz. After graduation, all of them continue their postgraduate studies in residency, and some in graduate school in Russian educational programs.

The faculty runs 39 resident training programs.

In 2024, the 25th graduation of general practitioners took place, the 16th – pediatricians and dentists; the 23rd – clinical residents who received the appropriate certificates and certificates for the right to work in their chosen field of medicine. In total, during the period of the faculty’s activity, 2,596 general practitioners, 1,020 pediatricians and 1,888 dentists were trained. Most of them work in Kyrgyzstan. But many were able to enroll and successfully complete their residency or graduate studies at leading medical universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and other Russian cities. Some are now practicing in the USA, Germany, Israel, India, Pakistan, and China.

The high quality of teaching was confirmed by inspections by Russian-Kyrgyz expert commissions in 1995, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.
