Faculty structure
The clinical base and interaction with practical healthcare.
To train students and conduct research, KRSU uses 26 state clinical bases approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 04.09.2025 No. 943 and 4 private medical centers. Faculty staff provide advisory and expert assistance to practicing physicians and conduct medical activities.
In 1994, the faculty had only one department of biomedical and medical-psychological disciplines. Currently, the faculty consists of:

Material base of the faculty
The departments of theoretical profile (anatomy and topographic anatomy; histology, cytology and embryology; physics, hygiene, pathological anatomy, medical informatics and biology; microbiology and virology; disaster medicine; basic and clinical pharmacology; epidemiology and immunology; normal physiology; pathological physiology; chemistry and biochemistry; educational practice and basic research) are located mainly in building No. 9 on the ave. Chingiz Aitmatov, as well as in university buildings No. 12 and No. 13 located in the Alamedin-1 microdistrict, using 5 lecture halls, a library hall, 4 computer labs, 107 educational and 5 laboratory rooms, 1 vivarium, 14 administrative offices, the Museum of Anatomy, equipped with the Pirogov Interactive Anatomical Table hardware and software complex.".
The Department of Public Health and Public Health is located on the basis of the National Center of Oncology at 92a Akhunbayeva St. The Department of Medical Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychotherapy is located on the territory of the Republican Mental Health Center at 1 Baitika Batyr Street.
Departments of clinical profile (therapeutic disciplines for the specialty pediatrics and dentistry; therapeutic disciplines for the specialty medicine; general and faculty surgery; hospital surgery; urology; traumatology and orthopedics; neurology, family medicine; forensic medicine; medical rehabilitation; medical genetics and neurosurgery; dermatovenerology and phthisiology; infectious diseases; obstetrics and gynecology; pediatrics; pediatric surgery; oncology and radiation therapy; radiation diagnostics; ophthalmology; otorhinolaryngology; family medicine) are located on the bases of relevant medical institutions, National medical centers and research institutes of republican and city subordination. The departments of Surgical Dentistry, Therapeutic Dentistry, orthopedic Dentistry, pediatric dentistry, Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery are located at 119 Grazhdanskaya Street.
The relationship between departments and medical organizations is regulated by the regulation "On clinical bases" and the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic "On additional measures for the activities of clinical bases of medical educational organizations" dated 09/04/2025 №, and existing bilateral agreements.
