First-year students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the international academic simulation Model United Nations, which took place in Almaty at the Caspian University.
The Model United Nations format involves modeling real diplomatic processes and requires students to have a deep understanding of the international agenda, the ability to negotiate and argue for a position in a multilateral dialogue.
Participation in the simulation allowed students to gain practical experience in the field of international relations and diplomacy, develop skills in public speaking, teamwork and decision-making. Representatives of the KRSU demonstrated a high level of preparation, active participation in debates and interest in discussing current issues of world politics.
The experience gained was a significant contribution to the academic and professional development of students, expanding their understanding of the principles of work of international organizations and diplomatic institutions.
