  In 2007, the head of the department, Colonel Idirisov A.N. defended his PhD thesis on the topic: «Assessment of adaptive reactions to high altitude conditions among student athletes who were at summer military training camps in order to identify possible functional disorders in them».

Students participate in student scientific conferences.
In 2023, the members of the circle participated in international olympiads and conferences, round tables held at the department:

Participation in the 1st International Olympics in emergency care 11/26/2021 Omsk State Medical University of the Russian Federation. A team of 4 students: Sotnikov B. (5th year), Ten D. (5th year), Kola Ablayhan (4th year), Kim R. (5th year) took 6th place out of 12.
Annual student conference of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU, Bishkek 2020. Students took part Anvarbekova T. 3k LD on the topic: “Dynamics of the development of anaphylactic shock in patients based on CEM in Bishkek. Reducing mortality as a result of the introduction into clinical practice of the latest diagnostic and treatment methods based on the principles of evidence-based medicine”; Gusarova D., 3k. LD on the topic "Dynamics of development and severity of the condition in acute carbon monoxide poisoning based on the Bishkek Center for Electrical Energy"; Gusarova M., 3k. LD on the topic "Dynamics of severity of the condition in case of traumatic brain injury in victims of road accidents at the Bishkek Center for Emergency Medicine"; Arinova A., Muradova R., Kasymova M., Murzakhalova L. 2k. Theses were published in the collections of the conference of young scientists and students of KRSU «Methodology, technology, experiment, clinic».

The main areas of research are:
-scientific problems of organizing and strengthening catatsrof medicine in the Kyrgyz Republic
-assessing the adaptive responses to high altitude catches.
